User Experience Beyond the Web: Exploring Service Design

Refresh Bellingham is proud to host Ariel van Spronsen. Ariel will be talking about the burgeoning field of service design. User experience is commonly practiced with respect to websites and software, with a goal of making these products relevant and easy for their audiences to use. But today’s users (and use contexts) are shifting from being product-focused to being service-focused, with websites and software as vehicles for those services - they are one touchpoint in an overall customer experience. Service design is a new way of thinking about this overall customer experience, but you’ll likely recognize many of the methods.

If you missed Ariel's presentation, you can download the slides here.

When? Where?

Refresh Bellingham will be meeting on Wednesday, January 20th at Extremes Sports Grill. Ariel's presentation and the following Q & A will be from 6pm to 8pm. If you'd like, please join us for dinner and a drink afterward.

Please, let us know you're coming.
